About Me

I have been designing interiors for as long as I can remember. As one of those kids who always wanted to be an interior decorator, I started my career while still in college in Southern California designing model homes for multiple firms in Orange County and Los Angeles.

In 2005, I relocated to Colorado and continued designing interiors for new home buyers and expanded into residential design while starting my own company specializing in model home merchandising.

On the personal side, I have two amazing kids who are both currently attending university in the UK. I work from my glorious home office inspired by sunshine and palm trees while my husband enjoys retirement in the beautiful state of Florida! We have “traded” our kids for a lovely little Jack Russell pup who keeps us company as well.

I love to travel and explore new exciting places. That’s been tough with a pandemic, but I’ve started traveling again and it’s so great!  Follow my blog for updates on what I am doing and the new places I’m experiencing.

Movies that I’ve seen too many times to count include: When Harry Met Sally, Singing In The Rain, The Devil Wears Prada, Cabaret, The Thomas Crown Affair, & Les Misérables. As a side note, I’m totally good with repetition.

19.

As a result of being married to a Trekkie, I have seen just about every episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation including all of the movies, most on opening night in the theaters. (Wasn’t the episode about the Typhon Expanse great?!) I have to draw the line at the Shatner TV series, though. That’s just too campy for me.

20.

I cry very easily. The Star Spangled Banner brings out tears every time. I’m also extremely dependable when it comes to crying at weddings (on screen and real life). I once went with my ex-boyfriend to his ex-girlfriend’s wedding and wept uncontrollably through the whole ceremony. It didn’t matter that I had never met her before that day. As for my own wedding, yes – I was a mess. I attribute this to the whole Moon in Pisces thing.
